The Southeastern Conference released the 2024 SEC football schedule on June 14, 2023. It’ll be the inaugural season for the newest SEC member schools – the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas.
SEC football teams will play 12 football games – eight games are conference football games and then four non-conference games with at least one of the games featuring a school from the other major conferences – during the 2024 season when the SEC expands to a 16 member league.
The SEC will eliminate divisional standings beginning in 2024 and the SEC Football Championship Game will match the two top teams in the standings at the end of the regular season.
