The 2023 SEC Football Helmet Schedule is here in full blown southern technicolor. Our SEC Helmet Schedule features the newest helmets of each SEC football team and the helmets for each SEC team’s opponents for each week of the football season.
For the 2023 season, Southeastern Conference member schools play twelve games and have one open date. The SEC football schedule includes eight conference games featuring six divisional games and two inter-divisional games with one rotating opponent and one permanent opponent. Best Out of Conference Matchups on the 2023 SEC Football Helmet Schedule
Even though the 2023 SEC football season feels like an eternity away, we like to pick out our favorites of the out of conference games. And yes, we already know SEC matchups are the greatest of all matchups. Following are a few of the most intriguing games featuring SEC football teams versus other Power 5 schools this year.
- Texas at Alabama – These two will be in the same conference next year. Read that again.
- BYU at Arkansas – Big 12 bound BYU coming to Fayetteville.
- Auburn at Cal – It’s gonna be Freeze-ing in Cali.
- Utah at Florida – Thursday night game in the Swamp.
- Florida State vs LSU – The one that got away from the Bayou Bengals last year.
- Georgia Tech at Ole Miss – Georgia Tech never played football in Mississippi even though these two were in the same conference for 30 years.
- Virginia vs Tennessee – Last time these two met was ’91 Sugar Bowl.
- Texas A&M at Miami – Great win for Aggies last year. Can we get a repeat?
We sure love the OOC matchups, but the rivalry games are the most anticipated matchups on the SEC schedule each year. From the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn to the Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss, these games are steeped in tradition and always highly competitive.
